My Dearest Niece
will Drop you a line to let you know I am still alive and on this olde Earth but cant say for how long I am over here to help take care of our cousin John Dickson he is just a live but that is all I cant see how he can hold out but he is still alive but suffering awful it would be a blesing to all to see him Pass out of his missery as he Pray to but Prayer seems to bee a humbeg in this day of the wickedness when 3 dirty liars can beat 4 good honest people in our dirty courts after a just and impartial trial as they did me last Monday in court. I hoped to get Enough at least to come to see you all so I put every Dollar I had in it and lost it by a dirty Forged Piece of Paper they had made up and swore to but I havent done with them yet
Well Dear your cousin Will Delk your uncle Sols boy Died on the 18th the day of my trial was buried wendsday this week but Dear I am going to try next week if Nothing hapens to get Enough together to try to get out of temptation of the Robbers without getting in more trouble hope your all well and to hear from you again with love to you all your uncle
