My Dearest niece

Rec your most kind and ever welcome letter a day or too ago have ben trying to pick appels most of our Pickers get from 80 to 120 boxes Per day I Poke along with 35 to 45 Per day at 5 cts Per box got 7.60 Dollars laid up to start to old Iowa on hope to hold out for 95 or 100 Dollars then I can start out of old Oregon. will be at it about 4 or 4 or 5 weeks longer takes 1400 boxes to Pay my fare back but I am going to try and make it and more too I have not sold my house hold Goods yet have most all of them yet at home locked up get awful shakey if work the least bit fast have to take my Poison Every day.

Well Dear I am sorry to hear of my Nephews misfortune with his back tell him to beware of those dirty know nothing Doctors noot one out of 50 knows anything but how to Grab all the money they can they have told me more than 20 times this winter that I could not live on hour a day a week and I am still alive they dont know any more than a hog does. So I quit them all I call them all a dirty set of highway Robbers they dont know nothing not 1 out of 40 of them hope you are all well and Enjoying your selvs Love to all.
