My Dearest Niece & all I will try and answer your kind and welcome letters I Rec one 2 weeks ago & 1 lask week glad to hear you were all well wish I could say the same I have suffered the last 10 days worsed I ever did the People thought I would chok to Death friday Night had no sleep for 78 hours last Sunday Monday nor tuesday, sent the last 50 ¢ Piece I had a wednesday for sleeping Powders got tenn Powders Got 54 minutes sleep took them in 2 days. never got one minutes sleep thursday friday nor saturday day or night 73 more hours all the same week it is too much if Ever I get that away I sure will open my little Brown Bottle and try its contents I will never Suffer Such misery again there is no use of such misery I know I can never can work again my feet are both sweled up awfully but dont Paine me I am so week cant hardly walk across the house have been herr 7 weeks havent done a days work nor never Expect to again so you can see I am better off Dead and out of the way so I say.
