Mr. E. E. Delk
Dear Uncle,
I will try and answer your kind and welcome letter that I received some time ago and was very glad to hear from you.
Well Elmer I hear you are married. Who in the world did you get stuck on. I never thought of such a thing as you getting married. Well who is she and what dose she look like and all a bout and when you got married. I suppose that piece of goods you sent me was a piece of your wife wedding dress was it not?
Jimmie Worden is in visiting us now from Neb. It’s Uncle Husted boy.
Well Elmer we will send those things of yours as soon as we can. They are so busy working in the field. They don’t take time to do any thing. We haven’t got one of those books, Ten Nights in a Bar Room.
I suppose you heard Luther was married and he didn’t get married because he wanted to either.
Well I suppose you had a fine time the fourth didn’t you. I went to Leon and the next day after the fourth I thought I would die I was so tired.
Well I believe this is all for this time. Hoping to hear from you soon.
